This is a small beginning to a blog for our family. I am doing this so I can look back and remember the things, that in ten years will be very muddled in my mind. So here goes!!
Spring on our little farm is blooming from baby kittens, to green grass, painted foals, little lambs and good health. The children are thriving on the spring sunshine and the hope for Gods glory shining through on our world. Green Grass, spring flowers, leaf trees, Cherry Blossoms, the buzz of Uncle Mikes Honey Bees, and the fear of wasps, the musical sounds of a orange breasted Robbin, the Black and white of the magpie (even though there sound is not so musical) the pitter patter of the keel deer, the dips and swirls of the barn swallow. Life is thriving on the farm.
last Sunday set heavy on all our hearts as Healthcare reformed passed (Obamacare). However we are hopeful, for all things happen through Christ and God is ruler over all. Healthcare should never be under the Governments power. and others should not have their tax dollars raised to pay for the Healthcare of other people. Not only that but others have to help fund the murder of Babies. Abortion is murder no matter how you look at it.
The girls are enjoying school with Gram three days a week and with Mama, I am learning allot about teaching my children and whats most important I had a wonderful talk with a dear lady friend in our church on Sunday. She has given me allot of hope for the future and much inspiration. Thank you Leslie. It is hard to teach when you are not a teacher setting schedules and sticking to them being consistent. but most important making sure everything is grounded to Gods word! and our obedience to Christ.
The boys are full of life! Gentry has finally (as of yesterday) gone poop in the potty with out sitting on it for hours Yay Yay Yay. he must have some of the strongest stomach Butt muscles around I never new one could hold it for literally hours!!! He is such a sweet boy and he loves to be mamas little helper!! Kesten is Learning that the middle of the kitchen table is not a safe place to play. He loves food and he loves making messes so you can imagine what his thoughts are butter, salt, pepper, woohoo!!! Needless to say my work is cut out for me with this one, he is as stubborn as can be! So right now he has to figure out which he'd rather do or not have more, Make a mess with the condiments or Discipline for disobedience.
Abigail is growing so fast. She adores her Sitsers and brothers, she loves her mamma and daddy is the best! KR had her laughing and laughing for over a hour last night! He just loves the sound of her laugh. She is so sweet such a snuggle bug and so enjoys being the center of our world. It seem like yesterday that I was a month over due and wondering if she was ever going to come now she's 4 1/4 months old!!
The kids are learning to ride and are loving it Kesten (1 1/2) loves the pony and is doing great at keeping his balance, (Gentry almost 3) is braver then expected! He Loves riding and is doing great. Bethann (4yrs.) has learned that running up behind the pony is not a good idea. He gave her a warning kick, it didn't even leave a mark but boy did she howl I think it scared her more then hurt but we still came in and iced it for her! Sometimes sympathy is the best cure for a booboo and a fluttery heart. She still loves the pony and is not afraid of him even after that. She is out Brave little Bethy boo. Ellie Loves all the animals she is just like her mama she has a very tender heart and loves spending time with them all she is so good with them and they love her in return. If I would stay out with them they'd ride him all day long and into the night!
KR spent the whole week on our house. Wiring, insulating, sheet rocking, taping, mudding, Teaching me how to tape and mud. Mostly I helped by cleaning and organizing it was a good thing it really needed it. We are so excited to finally be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!!! What will I do with all of that room?
